1.) What makes your AVEDA Institutes Florida location special?

I feel that the people and the education are what make it so special. The educators take the time to connect with each individual student getting to know their strengths and where they need that little extra push. At the Jacksonville beauty school we are not just students and educators, we are a giant family.

2.) What tips do you have for busy moms who still want to remain style-conscious?

Less is more! The last thing mom needs to worry about while dropping the kids off at school, going to a work meeting/lunchin or picking them up from soccer practice is her crazy Dew. I would suggest having a cut or style that is fun, classy, easy going and most important hassle free. If she only has a limited amount of time to get ready in the morning I would opt for a super cute up-do. A chignon or french twist would be easy enough for any style-conscious mom to replicate.

3.) Which technique that you’ve learned in massage school has been your favorite and why?

My favorite technique would probably have to be The Stress-Relieving Neck and Shoulder massage. In my opinion nothing helps you relax more then a great shoulder massage.

4.) What is your favorite hair styling tool?

My favorite hair styling tool is my Marcel Curling Iron. There is nothing more beautiful to me then luscious voluminous curls. It’s the best!

5.) Whats your fondest memory from the AVEDA school?

My fondest memory from the AVEDA cosmetology school is the very first time I walked through those doors. I was captivated at how fast paced, upbeat, and synchronized everyone was while performing their duties that I instantly knew I was meant to be there. I knew it would be a turning point that would make the rest of my life.
