When one thinks of cosmetology or beauty school, the first thought might be “this will be a ‘breeze’, after all, what could be so difficult in learning about hair, skin and nails.” Well, I must say, nearing the end of my first phase at Aveda, I have mustered an even greater respect for this profession. I have learned that it takes a lot of dedication, hard work and discipline to succeed at this institution.

Even though there were many assignments, tests and drills, I am thankful for them because I have learned an exceedingly great deal. I believe upon successfully completing an education at Aveda, students will be well equipped to enter the professional world of cosmetology.

The skills we learn are sure to gain us many happy and faithful clients. I recommend Aveda as the cosmetology school of choice.

I find Aveda to be an amazing a school. First of all it’s environmentally friendly, plus the educators know there stuff and are able to share there knowledge with us in ways we understand. The atmosphere in the school is really professional, as well as the dress code.

The techniques learned are pretty complicated at first, but then with much practice and help from the professor they become simple. The color techniques used at Aveda do really last, my color model still till this day tells me how her hair still looks like the way it did when I first added the color. All in all Aveda is an amazing school and I recommend people to try it out and see for themselves.
