In the New Year, I plan on continuing my consistent high grades and great attendance. More importantly though, I plan to grow as a person in the field of healing through touch. I want to make sure that everything that I gain will be prominent with intent and caring. The use of touch has the ability to heal in so many ways including mentally, physically, and emotionally. I want to be able to be the best at what I do, but I mostly want to be able to help people to the best of my ability. This is the purpose of what we do here at Aveda.

During my studies in becoming a Professional Massage Therapist here at Aveda, I plan to extend my learning ability by taking as many CEU’s (Continuing Education Units) courses to expand my creativity in the Professional environment. My goal is to stay focused and think outside the box. I know that all things are possible not only by reaching for what I love doing as a Profession, but by taking one day at a time learning new techniques.
My goal also is to take out the negativity in my life through meditations and other balancing techniques. I’ll surround my life with more positive energy such as friends, family, or other Therapist. I plan to shadow as many salons to see what I can incorporate in my life to be a better Massage Therapist not just in the world of beauty but around the world!!!

To begin with, I plan on graduating! My goal is to soak up as much knowledge as possible to be the absolute best Massage Therapist and Esthetician I can be. Moving from my intro course into clinic, I will be able to apply my skills and practice to become perfect. I will continue building my network through clients, teachers, and other students.
In the new year I also plan to move away and continue working with the Aveda network in Tampa, Fl, Atlanta, GA, or Miami, Fl. I will be working to save up so that I can open and run my own spa on a beach front.

There are many goals that I would like to achieve in the new year at Aveda. I want to learn more cuts because that is the one area I don’t feel comfortable in at all. I know I just havn’t had enough practice yet to feel as comfortable as I would like to.
I’m here to learn and I want to get as much as I can out of school. Another goal of mine is to really get to know all the products well. Not only will it help me to know what products to use but it will help me to sell those products to my costumers.
