With July 4th come and past with the usual flurry of high ponies and Sun kissed faces, and the celebration of the glorious Flag Day in full swing, hearts may be heavy when the realization hits that our next big holiday to lay by the pool an sip an ice cold lemonade won’t come until September.

Like many good natured, all-American girls, I don’t really find the need for an excuse for this type of summer behavior, both for those of you that need a little excuse to let the chill wave take you for a ride, there is hope! August 10th is National Lazy Day! Trust me, I was just as thrilled to learn about this as well. And in honor of the most glorious holiday I’ve ever heard of, I’ll hook you up with the latest tip for the fiercest hair.

Super sultry beach waves can be achieved with ease for a lazy day while still looking like you’ve unlocked the secret to never having a bad hair day.

Simply spray some Aveda Witch Hazel Hairspray through damp hair, twist or loosely braid your hair. Air dry or diffuse until dry. Then bam. Done.

Undo those puppies, and you are primed and ready to celebrate my absolute new favorite holiday, National Lazy Day.
