For the month of June, we would like to recognize Emilee Nicole Stratton for her continued passion and hard work as Aveda Institute Tampa Bay’s Educator Spotlight.

Emilee’s first eight years in the beauty industry started behind the chair, specializing in hair extensions. She then went on to become an Aveda educator and has worked at Aveda Institute New York City and Aveda Institute Tampa Bay teaching Cosmetology. Aveda’s holistic approach to beauty and gentle impact on the environment is what originally drew Emilee to Aveda. While these two reasons still continue to support her loyalty to the brand, Emilee has also fallen in love with the stories of Aveda’s many partners around the world.

“In our industry everything is about timing, maximizing your day/book. Every hour someone/something new is happening and its very difficult to savor moments in the day so outside of work I’ve been focusing on slowing down and “stopping to smell the roses”. Having said that my goal is to make happy memories with my 8 year old son and savor every moment during this season of my life. My interests include, gardening, creating/making things, cooking, nutrition, swimming, outdoor adventures with my son.”
