Jill Rae was nominated to be student of the month because she goes above and beyond in all aspects of school while still working a full time job as a manager of a store. She’s only missed one day and her UT is all caught up and passing. She recruits all her own clients and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure they’re happy leaving the school. She always pays attention in class and takes notes.

“My name is Jill Rae and for as long as I can remember I have adored all things beauty. For the past ten years I’ve had a successful experience managing in the retail beauty industry for brands such as origins, Lancome, and ULTA. Being a makeup artist and leader in the work place I’ve found so much drive and passion to nurture the people around me and find something beautiful in each moment.

I turned 30 this year and decided I HAD to chase the dreams I had put on hold and finally pursue school at Aveda. I’m so inspired by Aveda and don’t just believe in the mission, but have also found commitment in living it. Connecting beauty, environment, and well-being has really helped me find the drive to further my career as a stylist.

When I’m not busy at school or work I am spending time with my sister’s kids, dragging my friends to the gym for spin with me, or sending silly selfies to my twin sister. I’m so excited to finally be on this journey and look forward to the rest of tomorrow.”
