Josie Vidal is currently a student at Aveda Institute South Florida.  She’s 25 years old, originally from Ecuador, and spends most of her free time volunteering and painting.  Her artistic and creative skills are displayed beautifully in the above Aveda Mission video she created.

We asked Josie what inspired her to create this powerful video.

“I’m currently a Masters Phase student, and I can say that every phase has held a great experience for me. One of the things that stands out to me about Aveda and the Institute is the integrity and professionalism with which everything is conducted.

I was inspired to make the video by Aveda’s mission and how the Institute adheres to the mission every day. I think there’s something great about doing good for the world: it is a joyful experience, but not a thoughtless one. I wanted whoever viewed the video to stop and be conscious of the impact they have on the world. You put your money into the things you value. Aveda values the Earth and its people.  And when you buy and use Aveda products, you’re saying that’s important to you, too.”
