While attending AVEDA Cosmetology Institute, I have been amazed at the quality of products they have available.

They have something to fit everyone’s hair type and texture. What I absolutely am impressed with is that AVEDA is one of the only beauty lines of product that is all organic – this was 75 percent of the reason I choose this school. So, while I’m learning procedure and technique of hair styles I feel comfortable promoting AVEDA products.

One of my favorites is smooth infusion styling gloss and straightening gloss. Because my hair is on the dryer side.

Do you love the look that your hair natural creates with the salt water when you go to the beach? If you aren’t planning on going to the beach but want that look there is a simple way to create it.

After drying your hair, create a side braid, once you have the braid use Aveda’s witch hazel light hold hairspray and mist up and down the braid.

Use your flat iron to go down the braid while its still braided. Twist the bottom of the braid and continue to flat iron this section too.

Once you’ve gone over braid at least two times, mist the braid once again. Let the braid cool down and then release the hair tie.

Undo the braid and you should see your beach waves. You could mist the hair once more for a light hold if you prefer.
