As a new student at the Aveda Institute Tallahassee, the salon experience is very new to me. I’m used to the typical experience in other salons. It usually consists of waiting for your stylist to escort you to the chair, while her other client is processing because she double booked you. Even worse, you are treated just like any other client. At Aveda, client is not a word you hear often.

We refer to our customers as guests and treat them as such. From the second you walk in the door, you are warmly greeted and offered Aveda’s Comforting Tea or water. Your stylist doesn’t motion for you to come over to her chair. She walks with you and treats you as if you are her own family member or friend. Being a guest at Aveda is like being home. It’s comforting, relaxing, and you don’t want the experience to end. Aveda not only tells our guests how important they are, we show them. We take pride in giving our guests fabulous hair and the ultimate stress-free experience, complete with hand massages, scalp and shoulder massages, and our infamous finishing touches to get you out the door and looking your absolute best.
