I love being a student at Aveda Institute! This school is dedicated to making the world a better, more beautiful place, which is something I am very grateful to be a part of. Aveda is the “greenest” school on the planet, as well as a supporter of charities such as breast cancer awareness, and Earth Bound.
Aveda’s twelve points of difference ensure that each guest feels comfortable and important during their visit. Our mission and core beliefs are the foundation of the example we strive to set in each aspect of life. This is a world-class institute with the most wonderful educators, products, authenticity, and experience. The education I have received since I began my introduction phase in early August is truly something I could never be able to replace. Nor would I ever want to!
I am so happy to be a student at such a wonderful school!

Aveda’s mission states that [we are] caring for the world we live in from the products we make to the ways in which we give back to society. This is indicative with the many events, activities and business practices that are implemented.
October is nationally recognized as breast cancer awareness month. Therefore, Aveda, in accordance with our mission, is sponsoring a few events to help raise money for breast cancer. We have a hair “Cut-a-thon”, which will not only create an opportunity for us to service clients, but also allow many of us to give monetary support for a cure. Wearing pink is another way we are able to express our appreciation, concern and compassion for the millions of people affected by this horrible disease. For this reason, along with many others, I am proud to be an Aveda student.

I find Aveda to be an amazing school. It’s environmentally friendly and they use non toxic cleaning products and partners with schools across the country to recycle bottle caps. Aveda is the first beauty company in the world with 100% post consumer bottles and caps as well as the first beauty company manufacturing with 100% wind generated power.
